It doesn't take a glamorous city backdrop, size zero waist, or designer duds to make a superstar. Sometimes all you need is a little imagination, a wicked sense of humor, and the willingness to let loose for a few hours. A boom box here and a tricycle there never really hurts either! Why be bored with bulky equipment, camera settings, and practiced poses when there's fun to be had? My goal is to capture colorful characters in even more colorful environments. You might say I'm a little color obsessed but, really, who wants to live in a black and white world?

I aim for originality and spunk. It might mean decking you out in elaborate costumes and fantastical make-up or it could be as simple as catching a sly, sideways smile when you least expect it. Life is full of moments to be collected on memory cards, if you ask me. Instant Fame Photography is all about making you the star you've always known yourself to be. And this blog is where you'll first shine. Below you'll find some of my best images from my brightest small town stars. Fame needs fans so don't forget to add your two cents!

I'm heading out tonight to check out the famous Chloe Horseman as she 'does her thang' in Suessical- the musical stories of Dr. Seuss!
If you can't throw on clothes fast enough to make it there by 7pm - it'll be going on again tomorrow at 1pm and 5pm.
I can't tell you how excited I am to see this- her proud papa will definitely appreciate all the support!
I've photographed Chloe more than enough times to assure you that she's one of the coolest kids in Augusta!

P.S. she was even in the paper!!!

Looking for that ah-mazzzzing Easter, Mothers Day or Fathers Day gift?
You've always wanted a Gallery Wrap but money was tight so you settled for the basic flat print instead?
Frames are what I'd call 'old school'... So here's the chance to officially step your game up! :)

Just to give you an idea of pricing... my most common Gallery Wrap is a 16x20 which is priced at $460. SALE PRICE is $276- which knocked a slammin' $184 off the original price!!! Below is the example a client requested this morning. If you need image suggestions, help finding a size, or just want to see what it would look like on your wall.... Give me a holler! christinarainey@mac.com

Here's another example from today...

I was hired as the "official photographer" for the 2009 Subaru Forester. I did a sizzling-red-hot-steamy photo shoot with one of the worlds highest paid models in the business. :) I had so much fun, you'll want to check me out behind the scene. Japanese SUV's just got a little sexier!!!

I'm inspired and obsessed with finger nail polish. This is actually a new obsession for me. Seems like only last week when I couldn't even paint both hands. Oh wait, as a matter of fact it was! I am happy to announce that I finally have this nail painting technique down pat. Practice makes perfect- so I went ahead and stocked up on some fun colors that inspired me. All it takes is patience-- somehow I magically gained this at the 'wanna be grown' age of twenty-three. Hip Hip Hooray! I tried to go ahead and step my game up a little higher with an artistic nail design- that didn't go over well. :)

If you like these extra funky colors, you can find them at Walgreens for $1.99- super duper idea for your next photo shoot!
