It doesn't take a glamorous city backdrop, size zero waist, or designer duds to make a superstar. Sometimes all you need is a little imagination, a wicked sense of humor, and the willingness to let loose for a few hours. A boom box here and a tricycle there never really hurts either! Why be bored with bulky equipment, camera settings, and practiced poses when there's fun to be had? My goal is to capture colorful characters in even more colorful environments. You might say I'm a little color obsessed but, really, who wants to live in a black and white world?

I aim for originality and spunk. It might mean decking you out in elaborate costumes and fantastical make-up or it could be as simple as catching a sly, sideways smile when you least expect it. Life is full of moments to be collected on memory cards, if you ask me. Instant Fame Photography is all about making you the star you've always known yourself to be. And this blog is where you'll first shine. Below you'll find some of my best images from my brightest small town stars. Fame needs fans so don't forget to add your two cents!

August 11, 2010     Children

Just when I thought the Graybill family couldn't get any cuter, I met baby Giles! A sweetheart indeed! Gage & Elise partied hard with me all day long- these kids are some serious troopers! When I walked through the door they covered me with spider man stickers and introduced themselves in weird monster voices! Elise dressed all fancy and ate a snail for lunch. Yes, a real live squishy snail that she snuck in from the front yard! *ewww* Gage has turned the play room into a night club. He breaks it down to scratched Latin beats! *laughs* and new baby Giles is just playing it cool, sittin' back and taking notes! I love capturing this fun family as they grow and develop into such amazing little personalities! Click here for flashbacks from 2008!

November 15, 2008     Children

After spending a full day with Gage & Elise this past Wednesday, I've decided that I'm tired of being 23 and I'm ready to subtract
20 and go back to being 3! So, if anyone is interested in a play date... please call my mommy and she'll bring me right over!

These two beautiful kids sure know how to have a good time! Gage showed me how to jump big hills with even the smallest monster truck, and even though I left my cute tutu at home, Elise let me drink out of her magic tea pot! I got stuck in the tree house twice (hmmm.... I must be bigger than your average 3 year old)... oh, and luckily I didn't wake up any of the monsters in the front yard (they live in the drain). Their mom was so sweet that she even let us take a few breaks for snack time! I really didn't want to go home... but like most toddlers, I was pooped and it was nap time!

Such a diva! Tough enough to keep up with her big brother, but sweet enough to look just darling with a strand of pearls!

Here is a close up of Gage from the beginning of the session.
Keep in mind, this was before I fed him two popsicles and a lollipop!
What can I say, they were colorful props... and he sure seemed to appreciate my ideas! :)

Gorgeous Elise was always amazed by whatever her big brother was doing... she looks up to him so much!

This is the tree house that I got stuck in! :) These are some of my favorite images! Mom had a few outfits set out for him... but he took off in his little diaper before we could get him dressed! All day he insisted that he was the monkey and all the girls were pink dinosaurs! haha!

Have you ever seen anyone this cute in a tutu? She'll definitely be begging for ballet lessons soon,
look at her pointing her little toes in the first shot! :)

The glamorous Elise after she enjoyed her relaxing bubble bath! (I can't decide which one I like best, B&W or Color?)

I just had to post this next set... this was hilarious! Gage found a hole in the front yard and we decided that there
were probably monsters down there under the ground and that we should keep it covered up and let them sleep during the day.
Then, for some reason he thought maybe there were more monsters hiding in my lens! I was convinced, so I asked him to
please scare them away so they wouldn't see Elise when it was her turn! I think he did a pretty good job of checking things out! :)
